The Honey Dewdrops

Laura Wortman and Kagey Parrish are an award-winning, nationally touring husband and wife folk duet with fresh, original songs focusing on vocal harmonies and tight instrumentation. Influenced by traditional Appalachian music and contemporary singer-songwriters, the Honey Dewdrops create music that is powerful and heartfelt. On their latest album, Tangled Country, the duo’s musical compatibility is vivid, leaving no doubt for reviews of their mesmerizing, evocative, genuine live performances. The culmination of three years of writing and arranging, Tangled Country proves that The Honey Dewdrops bear the mark of musical maturity – in performance, arrangement, and songwriting. Acoustic Guitar magazine describes "handcrafted sound centered on swarming harmonies and acoustic guitars that churn like a paddlewheel and shimmer like heat waves on the highway.”
