New York Times bestselling author and humorist Michael Perry takes to the stage with a passel of stories that range well beyond the pages of his books. Whether discussing vicious chickens, homeless guinea pigs, long underwear for ladies, or getting your feelings hurt by the New York Times, Perry moves easily from the heartfelt to hilarious in an easygoing performance some have called "country stand-up." He lives with his wife and two daughters in rural Wisconsin, where he serves on the local volunteer fire and rescue service and is an intermittent pig farmer. He hosts the nationally-syndicated “Tent Show Radio,” performs widely as a humorist, and tours with his band the Long Beds. This night will be special, so he may wear a clean shirt. Well, a shirt anyway. Prior shows have sold out, so get your tickets early.
