MadFiddle and Hwy 151

Join MadFiddle & Highway 151 for an inspiring journey of fiddle music and song from around the world.  This youth ensemble, ages 5 to 17, is anchored by the rhythmic backbone of Highway 151, featuring Chris Powers (mandolin/bouzouki), Bruce Anderson (guitar) and Pat Spaay (bass).  Their debut cd, “Live at Old Music Hall,” takes us on an energetic ride through Appalachia, Scotland, Eastern and Northern Europe and the U.S. - featuring traditional and contemporary tunes that appeal to all ages.

MadFiddle is directed by Shauncey Ali, who is recognized nationally as an instructor, clinician and premiere fiddler and violist.  In 2012, he created MadFiddle as a way to nurture the alternative string scene in and around Madison.

Tickets $10 (17 and under free). Available by phone call and at the door day of show.
