Reverend Peyton's Front Porch Sessions

It’s clear from his part in the genre- and era-bridging “Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band” that fingerpicking guitarist Rev. Peyton’s abilities are in no short supply. Strong on authenticity, his music blends blues, ragtime, folk, country and other traditional styles with the sleek modern energy of do-it-yourself, homespun, punk fueled rock. From Austin City Limits to Bonnaroo to Telluride, Rev. Peyton has earned fans from all corners of the Americana and rock worlds, introducing a new generation to blues. For this “Front Porch Session,” the Reverend will play the acoustic blues and folk of legends like Charley Patton, Blind Willie Johnson, Bukka White, and Furry Lewis, as well as his own material.
