Today's performance is presented as part ofthe Music Appreciation Series sponsored by the Stoughton Area Senior Center.  It is made possible by the Stoughton Opera House, Stoughton Area Senior Center, a grant from the Bryant Foundation and donations.  The public is invited to this free event (donations are accepted).\

Luis Alberto Pena Cortes is a Doctoral Student of UW Madison Professor Christopher Taylor and hails from Bogata, Columbia.  He has performed throughout North and South America and in Europe and has won many awards. His program will include music by Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, and Ravel.  It is the program that he will use in Mexico for an International Piano Competition this November.
