Tennessee Mafia Jug Band

From the pastoral hills, hollers, shopping malls and interstate highways of Goodlettsville, Tennessee comes the most entertaining “blast from the past” since Lester Moran and the Cadillac Cowboys. They’re the Tennessee Mafia Jug Band — five guys and a scrubboard, with roots like wisdom teeth.  The Tennessee Mafia Jug Band presents a style of music and comedy that recalls old-time country musicians and television programs like Hee Haw, with the band wearing costumes, incorporating props into their shows, telling corny jokes with slapstick and family-friendly comedy. “Pap and the Jug Band,” a comic-relief feature from the Roy Acuff show, inspires the band’s stage show. They have appeared numerous times on the Grand Ole Opry and on the Marty Stuart Show on RFD-TV.  If you like old time string band music, jug band music, or if you love good ole country hillbilly music, then the Tennessee Mafia Jug Band is for you!
