“Like the best baritones, Rowe can sound sinister or sexy, sage-like or sweet.” --NY Daily News
Sean Rowe came of age listening to his father’s record collection that included The Beach Boys and Elvis Presley, but in his late teens it was R.L. Burnside, John Lee Hooker, Otis Redding and Ray Charles that came to epitomize Rowe’s strongest influences. Intimate and honest, Rowe’s deep baritone anchors his songs that pay close attention to the natural world, sparked by his youth in Troy, NY, and extend to his personal present.
