The historic Stoughton Opera House is located in Stoughton, WI just a few minutes south-east of Madison. The theater plays host to a wide variety of musical and theatrical performances throughout the season - rock, folk, classical, oddities, comedy...you name it. Known for sublime acoustics and an early 20th century aesthetic, don't pass on a chance to see a show or just pay a visit to the Stoughton Opera House.
The Wingra Wind Quintet is one of three faculty ensembles that are part of UW Madison Music Department. This group, along with the Wisconsin Brass Quintet and Pro Arte String Quartet, have performed on our series several times in the past. They will present musical and vital programs of outstanding Quintet Musical Literature. Faculty Members performing: Conor Nelson, Flute; Lindsay Flowers, Oboe; Alicia Lee, Clarinet; Marc Vallon, Bassoon; and Devin Cobleigh-Morrison, Horn.
