The theater plays host to a wide variety of musical and theatrical performances throughout the season - rock, folk, classical, oddities, comedy...you name it. Stoughton Chamber Singers--Sing a New Song

"Sing A New Song" is the title of the Spring Concert presented by the Stoughton Chamber Singers under the direction of John Beutel. The hour-long concert will take place at 4:00 pm on Sunday, June 12 at the Stoughton Opera House. The Singers will perform a wide variety of music. The program will begin with several anthems and madrigal representing music from the early years of choral music. It will also include music from several different cultures, "Three Hungarian Folksongs", a Scottish Folk song, and a traditional spiritual. Closing the program will be "All Good Gifts" from the musical "Godspell", "Hernando's Hideaway" from the musical "Pajama Game"and two Paul Simon hits, "The Sound of Silence" and "Bridge Over Troubled Waters". Margo Martens is the piano accompanist for the choir.

There are no tickets. A free will donation will be taken at the intermission of the performance.
