Middleton Jazz is a 10-member ensemble with six horns and a rhythm section. We play traditional jazz tunes, many in the ‘Dixieland’ style, with an emphasis on instrumental solos. While traditional jazz provides the primary foundation, the band plays a variety of styles. Audiences are likely to hear songs from the Big Band era, Blues, Dixieland and ’50s Rock and Roll, performed by good ensemble work and fine soloists.
